"Honor, Integrity, Courage, Loyalty, Respect, Selflessness, Service, Duty...
General Brian F. Phipps didn't just understand these words, he lived them every day of his life, whether in uniform or not. This was his lifestyle; a lifestyle admired by all of us who were privileged to have known him..."
Brian F. Phipps passed away on November 2, 2006. He worked as a public adjuster for over 15 years, specializing in policy interpretation and business interruption claims. Prior to becoming a public insurance adjuster, Brian worked in an independent insurance adjusting company as a property claims manager with an expertise in large, complicated losses.
Having served a combat tour in Vietnam, Brian was retired from the Army Reserve, as well as the National Guard, where he was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General (CT) upon retirement. Brian also served as a Police Commissioner in his home town of Ansonia, CT.
